Under LTT4R project, three high capacity computers have been handed to NAMEM and IRIMHE to build weather information processing capacity.

Mercy Corps Mongolia has partnered with the National Agency for Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring (NAMEM) since February 2018 to implement the disaster risk reduction projects - the Leveraging Tradition and Science in Disaster Risk Reduction-2 project (LTS2) and the Leveraging Technology and Tradition for Resilience in Rural Mongolia (LTT4R) projects. As a result of this partnership, bagh-level weather and some agricultural information are available via SMS messaging service to all users of cell phones.

Under LTT4R project, jointly implemented by Mercy Corps and the People-In-Need (PIN), three high capacity computers have been handed to NAMEM and IRIMHE to build weather information processing capacity.

We plan to continue and expand our cooperation.
